Ebooks Minnesota Access Instructions

Ebooks Minnesota is an online ebook collection for all Minnesotans. The collection covers a wide variety of subjects for readers of all ages, and features content from our state's independent publishers, including some of our best literature and nonfiction.

Ebooks Minnesota is a two-year pilot program brought to you by Minitex and made possible in part by funding from the Minnesota Department of Education through a Library Services and Technology Act grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.

The collection is validated by IP ranges. There is no Digital Rights Management (DRM) required. We have permanent access to these titles, there is no limit in the number of titles checked out at any time, and readers can keep the title as long as they wish.

IP Address Authentication

Ebooks Minnesota uses geolocated IP authentication, so no sign-in authentication should be needed. The process works for the vast majority of Minnesota residents.

For Library Staff

If your library is not able to access the collection, you can submit your IP address range(s) through Minitex's MyLibrary Portal.

Create a Minitex MyLibrary account here—when the form asks you to choose a service, be sure to select "IP Address Manager."

For Non-Library Staff

Individuals may contact support@biblioboard.com and let them know that you are a Minnesota user who should have access to Ebooks Minnesota. Bibliolabs will ask you some questions for verification before adding your IP.
