Jackson County Historical Society

The Jackson County Historical Society is headquartered at the museum located in Lakefield, Minnesota. Their motto is "Preserving yesterday and today, for tomorrow!" Documentation of the history of the county is on-going through the collection of artifacts, photographs and stories. The photographs submitted to the Minnesota Digital Library are a sampling of many photographs documenting the colorful 150 year history of Jackson County.
