Crow Wing County Historical Society

The Crow Wing County Historical Society has been preserving Crow Wing County's history since 1927. The museum, located in Brainerd, Minnesota, is housed in the old Crow Wing County Jail and Sheriff's residence, built in 1917. the museum has three floors of exhibits including displays on the lumber industry, the railroads, mining, and home life. Venture into your own history using the museum's research library; look through hundreds of historical photographs, maps, and books. The Crow Wing County 1913 Standard Atlas (plat book) is now part of the Minnesota Digital Library collection.
