Guide Description

This guide is designed to align with the Minnesota Arts standard that calls for understanding the personal, social, cultural, and historical contexts that influence the arts areas. The theater and music programs highlighted in this guide help to provide a look at how theatrical and music programs have changed over the years while maintaining classic and timeless qualities, which are still evident today. Additionally, this guide may be used to help meet the media literacy standard which calls for understanding, evaluating, and using different types of print, digital, and multimodal media, including synthesizing the information and recognizing categories, trends, and themes.
