9: Specific Minnesota Reflections Collection(s) to Consider (optional)

Blue Earth County Historical Society

10: Helpful Tips (optional)

Keywords about hunting and hunters were most helpful. Conservation of animals is another issue, not covered here, but certainly should be discussed with students.

11: Ideas for Lesson Plans Using this Guide (optional)

Almost all grades K-5 study animals and animal behavior. This guide can be used to talk about wildlife in Minnesota. Students can see animals native to our state and how these animals have been observed and treated throughout Minnesota's history.

Use a graphic organizer to help sort animals and their offspring.
